Mark Bouckoms

Mark Bouckoms

Mark Bouckoms has been practising and imparting the skills of Yoga and Qigong for over 30 years. He has studied with masters in India and China, including Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete), founder of Shadow Yoga, B. K. S. Iyengar and Li Jun Feng, founder of Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong. Mark is recognised for his ability to understand the practitioner’s needs and unique requirements, working adeptly with students of all ages and abilities. Through his own interest in sport he has introduced Yoga to many of New Zealand’s top athletes and national teams.

 

Mark is also a qualified practitioner of the related healing arts of Naturopathy and Bodywork. He has co-taught Yoga teacher training programmes and meditation retreats in New Zealand and internationally.

 

Mark’s interest in cultivating the inner intelligence and building our life force has led him to study different energetic systems from around the world.

 

He offers a rich blend of these principles in his teaching. The goal is to educate and empower those open to learning from the ancient and living traditions of Yoga and Qigong.

 

 

Doreen Lehmann

Doreen Lehmann

Doreen has been teaching yoga for the past 12 years after receiving her qualification from the 'International Yoga Teacher Association NZ' in 2006. Since then she has worked with people of different ages and many walks of life. In 2012, she deepened her Yoga knowledge as a student of Donna Farhi's Advanced Teacher Training.

 

In 2015, studying Dance Movement Therapy has become a natural extension to her work with people. In her training, Doreen studied movements and their integration on a deeper level, as well as the emotional and mental level within our human body. Since 2017 Doreen is now a qualified Dance Movement Therapist, this form of therapy has increased her passion for yoga, movement and life.

 

Doreen's yoga classes are based on mindfulness, combined with the aspect to allow everybody to become body-full. Here, her vision is to relate to the whole aspect of life. To support and to educate the understanding of the physical, mental and emotional body. With her deep understanding of the human body, she is able to provide opportunities to reach balance and full potential."

 

She utilises conscious breathing while practising the asanas, as well as pranayama techniques to nurture the physical and mental body on a higher level. Her yoga classes are about integration, connecting within ourselves, honouring our bodies and being in the present moment.

Maja Morit

Maja Moritz

Maja Moritz is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).

 

Maja had 20 years of experience in practicing yoga before qualifying as a registered teacher in August 2016. Based on Hatha Yoga Maja specializes in Intuitive Yoga, which encourages to listen to our body for guidance and emphasizes gentleness, well-feeling and intuitive individual freedom for everyone during yoga practice. Maja takes care of individual needs as much as possible and offers options for Yoga postures, if possible, to enable each participant to find their own optimal pace & practice in a class environment. A good workout combined with a relaxed pace is the mix Maja likes to provide. Deep relaxation at the end of each session is an important part of her guidance and teaching. Maja offers casual classes for beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners as well as theme based courses. Her specialty are one-on-one sessions, which honor the traditional way of holistic Yogic development in offering optimal individual support.

Julie Watts

Nadine Daly

Nadine has been practising yoga for over 15 years and teaching for several years. Since completing her initial 200-hour Teacher Training, Nadine has furthered her knowledge with trainings in the Baron Baptise method and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training. She continues to deepen her understanding with several teacher training development programmes in Auckland and Christchurch.

Nadine is mum to 3 young adult sons.
Merging her two passions, motherhood and yoga.

Nadine uses pranayama breathing techniques to help people settle the mind, de-stress and bring themselves into the present moment.

With humour and kindness, in her stronger classes, people will feel encouraged to move to their full range of movement. She has a genuine warmth and enthusiasm for her students

Nadine is on a life long journey to lead a slower, less stressed and mindful life. Believing her impact on the environment should be a positive one.
